We are Dirk and Candida, together with our children Giani and Valentina.
Driven by our passion for hospitality and quality, we welcome guests to our accommodations in the Ardennes, where peace, comfort, and togetherness take center stage.
Our story
Our background lies in the hospitality sector. With our company, we have been realizing interior projects for hotels, bed & breakfasts, and other accommodations for many years, including well-known names such as Pairi Daiza and Martin's Hotels.
Our production takes place entirely in Belgium, in Mechelen, and private individuals also find their way to us for high-quality sleeping comfort.
In 2013, we went looking for a place in the Ardennes ourselves where we could escape the hustle and bustle. That is how we discovered Valentina Lodge, a home that we completely renovated with respect for the authentic Ardennes atmosphere.
Later, we realized Durbuy Suites, an entirely new project that was designed from the outset with an eye for luxury, comfort, and experience.

We want our guests to feel welcome immediately and be able to fully unwind in a stylish and warm environment.
Thanks to our experience in the hospitality sector, we pay close attention to every detail: from the finish and sleeping comfort to the facilities and the location.
Our goal is simple: to create a place where people can enjoy themselves together and make beautiful memories.
Our connection with the Ardennes
Although we live in Lier ourselves, we regularly return to the Ardennes to enjoy the peace and nature.
For us, it is those simple moments that make the difference – like enjoying time together on a terrace along the Ourthe, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Durbuy.
We want our guests to experience that same atmosphere as well.
